"Ongoing programs : Since 1992 Fresh Start Recovery Centre has provided solutions that recover lives by housing, treating and supporting people living with chronic addiction. located in Calgary, Alberta (canada), our facility is a 40,000 square foot purpose built home where we employ an interdisciplinary approach to treating addictions. Our recovery program includes daily individual and group counseling sessions throughout the course of our program. This is reinforced with enhanced recreational and therapeutic activities conducted in an atmosphere conducive to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual growth. The peer support model runs in unison with our own treatment model of intergraded chronic care which the based is derived from the 12 Step abstinence model of recovery and is supported by a bio psychosocial model of therapy. Our home provides an environment for others to meet and participate in our Day Program, Employee Assistance and Family Healing Programs. As a result, Fresh Start Recovery Centre has been recognized as one of the top agencies in Canada for effective and successful addiction treatment every year since 2006, for those seeking treatment for and relief from chronic addiction for themselves or others. "New programs : As mentioned in our 2012 return we have continued to develop our new Family Healing Program which provides an opportunity for families, friends and individuals to learn and allow the healing process to being. 2012 has continued to provide an opportunity for Fresh Start's clients are who ready and willing to take the next step in their life and in their own apartment, which is our Step Iii housing. Our Step Iii housing component consists of eight single apartments as well as an additional three double occupancy apartments which assist in the family healing process.
